Aulon Zendo is directed by Togen Moss who is English, and is assisted by his Japanese wife. Togen was ordained in 1992 by Tokuda/Igarashi Roshi whilst attending the “Ango”, or training period at the Mosteiro Zen Pico de Raios, Brazil. He trained in Japan for a total of 8 years culminating with 2 and a half years at Daijoji monastery. He spent a year, respectively, at Seishoji, Tokyo, and Upaya Zen Center, U.S.A.

Togen received transmission from Tsuchida Kokuwa Roshi, the honorary founder of Aulon Zendo. Togen is a holder of “Itto Kyoshi” (registration as teacher) from the Soto-Shu Administration and is happy to share from his experience of Zen practice and Dharma studies.

He lives a family life, paints, has practiced oriental medicine, studied psychology, loves nature, and speaks French, Japanese, and Portuguese badly.

Direction to Aulon Village: One hour southwest of Toulouse, between Aurignac and St Gaudens on the D8.
Train stations: Closest stations are Boussens and St Gaudens.
